Yuxin Jiang



I’m an artist based in London and Shanghai. My work currently centres on the intersectional identity issues of being a Chinese and a migrant in the UK. I do this by making visible how these issues are embedded in languages, popular culture, and day-to-day life. I’m also working on an open-ended project LucySushi, taking the form of me writing for now. I’m writing to make sense of my experience and to give voice to my positionality.

I’m a lecturer on BA Photography at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, the translator of Photography: The Key Concepts by David Bate (2nd edition, Routledge), and co-founder of pic.london, a platform that supports artists working in photography and media arts.
